Justin and Gina 09.27.08

What a way to end the season! I had a BLAST photographing this beautiful couple. They were so laid back and personable! Their wedding party had me laughing the entire day and their families made me feel like I had known them for years! We had a perfect day for shooting, the weather was cool, crisp, and overcast. The leaves had just started to peak, so we got some wonderful fall colors and some great locations. Thank you Gina and Justin for allowing me to be a part of your day! I wish you many, many beautiful years to come!

James and Kelsey Engagement Photos

Down to earth.
Easy to talk to.
Friends.
That is Kelsey and James.
When I met this great pair, we probably talked for an hour, not only about wedding plans, but about life in general! They are so easy going and very personable. We had a great fall day to work with for photos, and with various locations to shoot at Centennial Lakes, we had a great time chatting even more. I am looking forward to working more with them next August!

The Young family

Fun excursions for young bodies, all you need is a field full of running room and an excavator!! (Ok if you are like me, and have girls, I had no idea what it was. I learned quickly...) I met the Youngs through a mutual friend of ours and realized quickly that we lived within blocks of each other. Betsy called to set up an appointment for family photos and we quickly decided upon Boom Island park in Minneapolis. Much to our surprise, and her son Austin's, not only were we going to take photos, we were also going to play on the cool machinery! He was ecstatic and we were able to capture some great expressions of him and the family around the picturesque area of Minneapolis!

Ron and Theresa....eloping!!

So I've never been a part of eloping, but last night I was able to be a part of the very intimate group of five that watched Ron and Theresa, after a few years of dating, tie the knot! For one sweet hour the stars danced around this amazingly down to earth, and kind couple! We tried to get in some post sunset photos, and used as much of the conservatory as we were able! I am thankful to have been a part of this sweet evening!
