The Harpel Family

Talk about exciting day! Five kiddos under the age of 2! How in the world to get all of them to look at the camera at the same time... Lots of noise! Grandma clacking raddles, moms making bubbly noises, dads cooing their names! What a riot! I had a gret time shooting this family, and we did end up with one where everyone WAS looking at the camera! Feewfta!

Amanda and her pups

Amanda is one of my dear friends from Northwestern. She is also a wedding planner whom I have worked with for the past few years. She called to get Christmas photos with her 2 beautiful Alaskan pups. We had a beautiful fresh snow and a very cold day to photograph in, but it was well worth it!

Addink Children

The Addinks are college friends of ours. Within 4 years of marraige, Hannah (2), Eli (1), and Navalia (3 weeks) came along. They are sweet kids and Hannah and Lydia are buddies.

Chaffin Family

The Chaffin's are an amazing family! They are so genuine and real! They have adopted three of their five children and they are all so closely knit. We took photos of their family on such a cold day, although you'd never know it! The kids did a great job of acting "warm" although the temp was about 30! I think the entire shoot took us a whole 20 minutes, I think that was about all we could handle!
Shooting location: Kelly Farm: Elk River, MN

Hyster Family

Tis the season for family photos! The Hyster family brought me to the Como Conservatory a few days before Thanksgiving. The mums were in full bloom which was a beautiful fall backdrop. Check out these cutie girls! No, they are not sisters, just cousins! They both were full smiles and grins as we played around in the flowers and the paths!

Springfield Family

This family is epically close to my husband and myself. They are part of a church plant of Bethlehem Baptist Church with us. The Springfield's have been noting but supportive of my husband's role as a pastor! When they asked me to do a family shoot, I joyfully agreed! They are a beautiful family!

Shooting Location: Handke Family Center; Elk Rive, MN

Josh and Hannah engagement photo's

Josh and Hannah are such a cute couple! Still in school, and ready to be done! They were so flexible and so in love. Their wedding will be in early January and we are all hoping for some snow and warmth! (Do those two things even go together?) We were able to get a good day to do some engagement photos. Looking forward to January!

Jon and Nicole

What a beautiful day for a beautiful couple. Jon and Nikki had a wonderful fall day...one of the last ones. It felt like early September weather rather than late October! We had a great time shooting and the day just slipped away from us. Nikki was a student at St. Kate's in St. Paul, and I was so impressed by the beautiful campus! The reception followed at the Double Tree in St. Louis Park, and I was so impressed by the festive fall place settings(apples!)! A sweet dance followed causing me to tear up as Nikki and her dad danced together to "Because you loved me". Overall it was a great end to a terrific shooting season!
