Boehm 50th wedding anniversary

It is a rare thing these days to be married for 50 years! I got a call from Stacey Boehm, and my heart rejoiced with her as she asked me to come and shoot photos of their family as they celebrated her in-law's 50th. As a wedding photographer, it was fun to be at the other end of those years shooting the results of a day 50 years ago. It reminded me how precious the years are that we have together with our spouses, and before we know it they will be gone. Hopefully by then, we can say we love each other more than we did that first day we said "I do." Here's to 50 years!

I had the privilege of shooting this couple on a wonderful July day!! With all the major roads shut down in the Minneapolis area (or so it seemed) the detour route went right past Diamond Lake Lutheran church! So not only did Jen and Benson have to think about alternate routes, they had a tremendous crowd watching as we took many of their outdoor shots! We had a blast and got a lot of "Congratulations!!"
