A trip downtown

So in order to get my girls to get all dressed up to photograph, I told them we were going on a tour of downtown, and what a tour it was! We really did have a great time, although I have to say I was more tired than they were on the ride home! Here are some of my favorites from the day!

The party never stops... Even at 60!

Marva used to be a wedding coordinator that I worked with at Bethlehem Baptist church. She has referred me to so many different people, including her daughter, who's wedding and now family I have been able to photograph. So when she called me to ask if I would be willing to photograph her and her husband Jim's combined 60th birthday parties, I was happy to be a part of another event with the family! Marva thought of everything from the outdoor tent, to the live bands, dance lessons, the 2 birthday cakes, to even the 4 corners of the world with extravagant food! And the guests came from all over the US. It was a great party and I was thankful to be a part of it! Happy 60th!!

Grace- 1 year

Ah, I have to admidt, this little girl is such a cutie!! So ok, and she is also my neice! I was able to meet her for the first time this summer and I fell in love with her! My sister-in-law and her family live in South Carolina, so we are rarly able to see each other any more! We enjoyed a few fun weeks together when they were able to come up, but there were many tears shed when they had to go home. We love you guys and miss you even more!

Jonathan- 7 weeks

I am so thankful to have clients that feel more like friends. Sarah and Chris are one of the many couples. They were married in January, and when little Jonathan was born, I was thrilled to get the call to photograph him. Working around the St. Paul conservatory, we found a variety of places to photograph their family. Like many of the little "models" that I shoot, he was ready to be done by the end of our session! I look forward to doing more of this little man! Congrats to both Sarah and Chris.

Caydon- 1 year

Check out this little cutie! I was fortunate to shoot photos of Caydon right after he was born and then again at 9 months, and now at his year mark! I love watching kids grow, it seems to go by so quickly!! I headed out to Melissa and Coy's home in Taylor's Falls and we took advantage of their beautiful property and even found some great props to get Caydon into the whole shoot. It didn't take much for this little guy to smile which made the shoot enjoyable and very easy! I am looking forward to doing more of this little guy!
