Justin and Gina...

Soon to be married in September, Justin and Gina had their engagement photos at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. For this couple who enjoys the outdoors and camping, they picked a beautiful location. We did as much as we could in the time that we had before the sun set, and had a great time in the process. We all laughed a lot and had a wonderful time! I look forward to shooting their wedding and sharing another day of laughter!

Basketball Players.

Many people spend their typical Monday mornings catching up on phone calls, e-mails, and other misc work that they were putting off from the prior week. Not me. Today I had the amazing opportunity to spend my Monday morning shooting seven of the Redeem team basketball players! Here are some of the snippets that I was able to be a part of! What a fun morning. It's not everyday that a photographer gets to be placed around seven VERY tall men with gold metals around their necks!

You may recognize this little bundle of joy! I was able to photograph my good friend Angie's daughter when she was only 3 months. My how she has grown! What a vast amount of emotions little girls can bring to our lives! We had everything from bold smiles, to frowns to even sleepiness!

Dan and Katie 08.16.08

What a beautiful couple! Dan and Katie met through a mutual friend from high school, and although they knew of each other, it wasn't until college that they actually started dating. Four years later, the 16th of August rolled around and they were married. I had the opportunity of shooting with my good friend Megan as her assistant for the day. She called early in the morning to see if I was available because her assistant had something come up. Because we are in a photographer's group together, we have teamed up to help each other if an occasion like this would arise. I was happy to help! Together we had a blast and it was fun to shoot from another angle for the day.

Baby Lucy

Oh the look and smell of a newborn! On Sunday afternoon I headed to the hospital to visit a good friend of mine who just entered the world of motherhood. Little Lucy was born just a day before and is beautiful. A whopping 7 lb 13 oz, she was a site for both her parents eyes. Congrats to you both Jon and Andrea, may this little girl change your world and bless you in the years to come! I am so, so happy for the both of you.

Elegant. Modern. Beautiful. Classy. Elating.

All words to describe Alex and Jennifer. Their wedding day was perfect. The love that these two share evaporate out of them onto others that surround their lives. The chose one of the most beautiful locations that I have ever shot at, Bearpath country club in Eden Prairie. I couldn't help but try to use all the nooks the club could offer including the wine closet. Here are some of my favorites of the day.
