Jonas is 9 months

Claire is another previous client who was married in 2006. She is yet another client who has taken me up on the winter promo. We have been trying to schedule a time to photograph Jonas for a long time and Monday afternoon I was able to meet and photograph this handsome little man! I love it when history is incorporated in shoots. This little stool that Jonas is holding was made by his auntie and shows his Swedish background. Hopefully the next time I'll be photographing him, he'll be able to stand with it, he wasn't quite there yet...

A March afternoon

So after returning home with a day of shoots and errands, I ran down to my office to try and catch up on e-mails, leaving Lydia to do some "creative stuff" (her words) on her own. 10 minutes later she comes down looking like this (with Elise along for the ride) saying "mom look how creative I got, but it doesn't come off!" Very good Lydia, and we headed to the bathtub right after the camera was put away...

A blast from September

Hey to all you blog followers! Thanks for keeping up with me even during the slow months of the wedding season. I thought I'd post a few photos from a wedding I shot with my good friend Ali from September. ( Just looking at the photos makes me long for warmer weather!) It's always a nice change of pace to be a second shooter rather than the main shooter. At that time both she and I were 7 months pregnant and both showing very much. We both had to laugh as we together were waddling all over shooting June and Duane, an amazing couple! Thanks Ali, for letting me be a part of the day!

Children's Museum

So here and there I have to add a few family photos. My middle daughter, Elise, turned 2 on Feb.10th. Instead of doing the big party, we decided to hit up the Children's Museum for the day. Grandma and Grandpa joined us from Milwaukee, and we all had a blast.

Caydon is 18 months!

Caydon is 18 months!?! I feel like he is one of my own! This is the 5th shoot that I have done for Melissa and Caydon, but this time around, there is a new little one to add to the mix! Baby GIRL Cox is due in May, and I am looking forward to doing many shoots of her and her adorable big bro!

Lucy- 6 months

One of my favorites from the day... both looking in opposite directions and totally unaware of each other! I had the opportunity to shoot photos of Lucy when she was born, again at 3 months, and now at the 6 month mark! She is the daughter of a good friend of mine. Her nursery is amazingly beautiful and girlie. I was highly inspired to use as much of it as possible! Lucy shot us some amazing smiles and expressions throughout the time! I am looking forward to many more shoots of this little one and watching her grow throughout the years!
