The Nelson Family

Crazy to believe that it has been a year since little Lucy arrived! Now she is almost one and practically walking! I am so thankful to be a part of the Nelson's life and have loved photographing this little cutie every 3 months! (It also gives me an excuse to see my wonderful friend and catch up on life!) Dre, here are some snippets of the session we did on Sat. We just beat the rain, and Lucy did a wonderful job, even if we were cutting it close to nap time!

Jonathan 9 months

Jonathan is just one of the cutie little babies that is so easy to photgraph! This is the third shoot that we have done together and it is so fun to watch him grow! The older I get, the faster time goes by. I shot Chris and Sarah's wedding in Jan of 2008, and now I am able to see them on a quarterly basis because of their little man! We hit up Northwestern's campus for and got some great teeth shotos! I am looking forward to more shoots to come as Jonathan grows!

Benjamin's first Birthday

In the Korean culture the first and 60the birthdays are most important. The first birthday signifies that the baby has made it through the first year and will have a long life. The 60the year represents that the person has had a long life and they are most truly blessed. I was able to be a part of one of the first birthday celebrations which included dancing, a marionette show, and of course birthday cake!

The Crowson's

Sarah, Frank and Charley met me at Como for the first round of Mini Sessions. We had a fun time shooting photos of their family and little Charley kept me running back and forth as he was trying to share some great news with us! I had to wait to post these until after Mother's day... See the last photo as to why!Happy Mom's day, times two! Little Charley's brother or sister is set to arrive in December! Congrats to all of you!

Another Mini Session: The Lepper Family

The Lepper family met me on Saturday afternoon for their mini-session and it was exactly enough time to photograph the 3 of them. Asher, their little man, was so happy and such a joy to photograph. We got some great grins and giggles from him too!
