Baby Lucy

Oh the look and smell of a newborn! On Sunday afternoon I headed to the hospital to visit a good friend of mine who just entered the world of motherhood. Little Lucy was born just a day before and is beautiful. A whopping 7 lb 13 oz, she was a site for both her parents eyes. Congrats to you both Jon and Andrea, may this little girl change your world and bless you in the years to come! I am so, so happy for the both of you.

Alex and Jennifer 08.09.08

Elegant. Modern. Beautiful. Classy. Elating.
All words to describe Alex and Jennifer. Their wedding day was perfect. The love that these two share evaporate out of them onto others that surround their lives. The chose one of the most beautiful locations that I have ever shot at, Bearpath country club in Eden Prairie. I couldn't help but try to use all the nooks the club could offer including the wine closet. Here are some of my favorites of the day. Jen and Alex, thanks for allowing me be a part of your amazing day!

Rachel's Senior photos

This is Rachel.
She is my brother-in-law's sister, if you follow that!
She lives down in Rochester and when she called to see if I would be willing to photograph some photos for her, I gladly agreed. She wanted to have something fresh and different from all her friends, so we hit up the stone Arch Bridge/ Mill City area. We had a lot of fun together and laughed a bunch. You are beautiful, thanks for allowing me to photograph you!

Boehm 50th wedding anniversary

It is a rare thing these days to be married for 50 years! I got a call from Stacey Boehm, and my heart rejoiced with her as she asked me to come and shoot photos of their family as they celebrated her in-law's 50th. As a wedding photographer, it was fun to be at the other end of those years shooting the results of a day 50 years ago. It reminded me how precious the years are that we have together with our spouses, and before we know it they will be gone. Hopefully by then, we can say we love each other more than we did that first day we said "I do." Here's to 50 years!
